The Fisher Astronaut Pen is made from solid brass with an extremely hard chrome plating; it is a heavy pen, with the weight resting reassuringly in your hand as you write. It has a very positive and substantial feeling click mechanism, with a plunger on the top for extending the refill, as well as a unique side release button to retract it. Its special design helps to ensure that you will always remember to retract the point before you slide it back into your pocket.
