The M4C Cap-O-Matic Space Pen uses a single-hand cap activation mechanism: press the flat end of the cap to extend the refill; press again to retract. No separate cap to remove or lose. Chrome-plated finish over a full brass and steel construction. Length: 5.375 inches. Fitted with a Fisher Pressurized PR4 refill, black ink, medium point. The pen ships in gift packaging, as can be seen in the images.
The Cap-O-Matic mechanism suits use in gloves, one-handed operation, or any context where uncapping and posting are impractical. Compatible with any PR-series refill cartridge.

One Press, Ready to Write
The Fisher pressurised refill writes at any angle, upside down, underwater, through grease, and in temperatures from -35°C to +121°C (-30°F to +250°F), on almost any surface. Three times the write length of a standard ballpoint. The Cap-O-Matic mechanism, press to extend, press to retract, is the only moving part in the pen.
The Cap-O-Matic was developed to address situations where the standard cap-off Bullet is awkward: working in gloves, in the cold, in conditions where both hands are occupied, or where a loose cap creates a problem. Single-hand cap activation reduces pen management to a single motion. The chrome finish is a full-coverage chrome plate, maintained to a high polish, presenting a pen that functions as a professional writing instrument as well as a field tool.
