The .338 Cartridge Space Pen is a writing instrument built around a genuine .338 Lapua Magnum shell casing. The casing serves as the cap, housing a compact raw brass Bullet Space Pen fitted with a Fisher Pressurized PR4 refill in black ink, medium point, compatible with any PR-series cartridge. Remove the casing cap and the pen is ready to write.
The body is unfinished, unlacquered brass, left exactly as it leaves the factory. Over time, each pen develops a patina shaped by its owner's environment and body chemistry. It can be polished back to bright brass at any point. The pen ships in Fisher gift packaging, as can be seen in the images.
